I know I am a little behind the times but I have recently become very interested in reading blogs, mainly those with a focus of home decor and handmade/creativeness. I love the pictures, the advice, the storytelling... there are too many reasons to list here. Plus the added bonus of stimulating inspiration! Maybe that goes without saying.

It was in this dive into blogs that I also discovered another not-so-new communication concept- the podcast. I have been aware of the podcast for a few years but only really thought of it as a way to keep commuters entertained on the trek to work. My trek to work is a 5 minute walk so I didn't find it necessary to look into it too much. I realized, though, that sometimes at work certain tasks breeze by more quickly while listening to music. So why not try out the podcast?

I found my first addictive podcast on Decor8 as a part of their Creative Series. It featured Marisa Haedike from Creative Thursday who actually has a whole archive of awesome and inspiring podcasts on her own website. Jackpot!

While working through Marisa's podcasts a thought occured- surely she can't be alone? A Google search led me to an Etsy article on the subject which led me to IndieBizChicks. Jackpot again!

And that's as far as I've gotten. I'm still working my way through these archives and excited about discovering more (even if they're a few years old at this point!). I've received a few recommendations and would love a few more! Got any for me?
