Urban Wildlife

What better way to spend a Halloween morning than on a walk in a cemetery? The Forest Hills Cemetery in Jamaica Plain, MA is actually a beautiful park, part of Boston's Emerald Necklace, as well as an eternal resting place. One of the first things we saw when we got there was a hawk swoop by us, prey in talons, and settle on a branch just long enough for me to take some shots (I cropped the prey, a squirrel, out! It was a little sad).

There was also a wild beagle who posed in front of a lovely red tree.
