Words of Wisdom for Creative Professionals

I love Ira Glass, the mastermind behind This American Life. When I asked a teacher at school a few months ago for advice on how to succeed in a photography career, he played this video. It stuck with me and I've watched it several times since then. The main point he makes is that when you start out, what you're doing will not be as good as how it is your mind but that doesn't matter- keep at it and it will get there at some point. "The most important possible thing you could do is do a lot of work. Do a huge volume of work... the work you're making will be as good as your ambitions." ~Ira Glass

I just want to thank you for posting this...I stumbled across it while I was looking for some words of wisdom to get me over this exact problem I'm having with my photography career. I've always wanted to be a "photographer" but never went for it till now. I needed this, thank you again.
